The Chelsea Heritage trench coat is a classic and features the timeless check print under the collar for added detail. This is Burberry's slimmest trench coat, with narrow shoulders, a nipped-in waist, and with a double-breasted front and a belted waist for an elegant appearance. The fitted archive-inspired style is woven in Burberry's signature gabardine. The outer and lining are made of 100% cotton and styled with a Vintage Check lining.

What we love most about the Chelsea silhouette is how its detailing allows you to lean in your desired aesthetic. The wrap around the waist belt can be further cinched for a very British style or you can leave the double-breasted fastening open.

The Chelsea trench is going to be tailored and slim fitting. It's available in four colours and three lengths. If you buy a Chelsea Slim Fit, but want a looser fit, then I recommend you ordering a size up.

Review: The Sandringham falls in the middle of the Heritage slimness range, and was Burberry's best-seller. Sandringham Trench Coat features a hook & eye fastening, classic collar, long sleeves, epaulettes on the shoulders, two front pockets, a double breasted front fastening, a rear central vent and a check lining. This iconic coat comes with a tonal belt with leather covered buckle that matches the buckled cuffs.

However, Burberry has discontinued the Sandringham, but in its stead is the Burberry Chelsea Slim Fit Heritage Coat, which fits almost the exact same as the Sandringham.

It's still slim fit by any definition, with just a touch more room throughout the torso and sleeves compared to the Chelsea. I have to say this cut is good, since it allows light layering but still looks fitted either open or closed.
