BATMAN: The Ride
It is new for Summer 2019. This 4D free-fly wing coaster offers a unique way to experience a roller coaster ride. The ride starts with a 120 foot, 90 degree climb and is followed by twists and turns and 2 beyond 90 degree drops. Magnetic technology allows each pair of seats to rotate and flip upside down giving a feeling of weightlessness as the carriage moves along the track.
Joker
The Joker is a new steel hybrid wooden coaster that combines steel and wood tracks for a maniacal ride featuring sudden twists and turns, a step-up under flip, and a breaking wave turn. In total there are three inverting elements on this 100-foot tall, 3,200-foot long steel coaster.
Superman: Ultimate Flight
SUPERMAN Ultimate Flight is a record-breaking roller coaster that sees guests launched to a top speed of 62 miles per hour before racing through a 150-feet-tall inversion. As you glide through the track with such smoothness, it’ll feel like you’re flying. Just like Superman would!
V2 Vertical Velocity
V2: Vertical Velocity is among the greatest Six Flags Discovery Kingdom rides. It launches dangling riders at face-flattening speeds up and back down two vertical inclines, the first a twisting spiral ascends at a 45-degree angle and the opposite a vertical 90-degree spike rises straight up 15 stories.
Kong
Kong is a steel suspended looping coaster that features a 108-foot first drop and multiple inversions, including a roll-over, a sidewinder and a double inline twist. Strap into this steel suspended looping coaster, with your feet dangling in the air below you, and climb up a gnarly tangle of red and gold track so twisted you won’t believe they can even get a roller coaster to run on it.
Medusa
Medusa is a floorless, multi-element coaster at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom. Standing at 150 feet tall, it hits a top speed of 65 miles per hour before racing through a series of 7 inversions. This includes a massive 128-foot vertical loop, a dive loop, a zero-g roll, two corkscrews and a sea serpent roll.
HARLEY QUINN Crazy Coaster
HARLEY QUINN Crazy Coaster is the worlds first dual looping roller coaster. The inverted looping coaster features continuous inversions along a vertically stacked figure of eight track. The two cars, carrying 32 passengers begin to rock backwards and forwards at increasing speeds till they do several forward and reverse inversions at a crossing speed of 70 miles per hour.
Dare Devil Chaos Coaster
If you’re a daredevil and love looping roller coasters, this is the ride for you. Standing at 7 stories tall, Dare Devil Chaos Coaster takes riders on continuous 360-degree revolutions with insane suspended hangtimes. The single circular track makes for one epic ride!
Hammerhead Shark
Hammerhead Shark is the world's first Zamperla Hawk 48 ride. Riders dangle in inverted coaster-style seats beneath one of two gondolas, which rotate 360 degrees seven times at the end of enormous arms.
WONDER WOMAN Lasso of Truth
Up to 40 riders can fit on this attraction as it swings back and forth while rotating counterclockwise. Wonder Woman Lasso of Truth takes riders on a spinning journey to new heights. Get ready to white-knuckle it through the entire ride as the spins reach speeds of up to 70 mph!
Six Flags Discovery Kingdom also houses a number of kids' rides, primarily in the Looney Tunes Seaport and Seaside Junction areas. Such as:
Road Runner Express is a great starter coaster aimed strictly at younger guests. With only 262 feet of track, this short coaster features a 13-foot-tall hill, a small drop down a mini-dip, and a swerve around an easy spiral.
Foghorn’s Seaport Railway is a miniature train ride around a basic circuit that guides kids through a scenic tour of the barnyard.
Seaport Carousel is a classic merry-go-round attraction. Riders board exotic animals and rotate around on a turntable.
In addition, Six Flags Discovery Kingdom boasts exhibits and shows dedicated to animals including crocodiles, sharks, dolphins, lions, and cheetahs. You can also get opportunities for up-close encounters with a variety of exotic animals.
