Like all Keen footwear, the Voyageurs greet you with the Keen-patented rubber toe protection made famous on the Keen Newport H2 sandals. If you prefer all-leather hiking boots and seek a backpacking boot for heavier loads,the Pyrenes is a solid option.However,unless you are hiking in low temperatures (below 50°F or 10°C), the Pyrenees is going to feel like an oven. I think that the boot's leather upper is overkill for warm weather.
