Projection is good too; you'll get very strong projection for around 1-2 hours, more subdued projection (but still quite noticeable) for another 2 hours, before it settles into a nice bubble around you.

Vanille Fatale opens with a marvelous blend of warm spices, namely mystic saffron and coriander; they result in the smooth and quite bright. a shadow of darker spices is thrown onto the initial dyadic mix by a frangipani impression.

A bit later a comforting coffee infusion develops, which is a soft black Arabica coffee that is mild and adding an interesting side note: Narcissus flower. The dry down is warm, cozy and very intimate, with the entrance of the engulfing Madagascan Vanilla and manly Suede giving the fragrance very sexy and attractive vibes. The Vanilla here is not your everyday cheery Vanilla, but rather a mature and leveled one.

There is no beans about it: this is not one of TF's overpowering strong and thickly vanillas, but quite a balanced and more restrained rendering of this bean, which blends in well with the rest of the whole - the vanilla is a good team player. A note of roasted barley mention in the scent pyramid is hardly noticeable though, yet instead you would get transient whiffs of a hazelnut aroma.

Review: It is raw yet sophisticated and very intriguing from the first spritz. There's nothing sugar sweet about this. The warm, woody base is made sexier with the addition of suede which gives it an animalic rawness that would work as well on a man as it would a woman.

The fragrance is one of winter use, preferably nighttime. The best use for itis in intimate close encounters. Its performance is amazing in terms of longevity, good sillage and projection, which also deems it great for office use, just do not use it sparingly!

You may not wear it that much, it's not heavily gourmand, it's a nice blend with the other notes. If you demand your vanilla be super strong, it may not work for you.
