The most impressive thing about this ice cream is the creamy texture in every bite. It is light and creamy, but still rich. The flavor is sweet and definitely highlights the vanilla, but it's not too strong. It scoops easily and melts cleanly and would be equally delicious spooned into a Nutella sundae or set atop a slice of warm peach pie as it would be eaten straight from the tub.

The most interesting about this ice cream is the vanilla flecks. In most ice cream you see the flecks, but they don't add much to the texture. With this ice cream you could actually feel the tiny flecks on your tongue.

If you never thought an ice cream could be fluffy, but Tillamook proved that anything is possible with a recipe that is high on silky-smooth mouthfeel and low on artificiality.

Review: If you're a vanilla bean ice cream traditionalist, Haagen-Dazs will be your favorite. This brand is applauded for its luscious ice creams, and the vanilla bean does not disappoint.

It absolutely had the strongest vanilla taste with bean flecks scattered throughout. That said, it was also the sweetest of the bunch, so be mindful that you'll have to sacrifice flavor balance to preserve authenticity. In this case, it's worth it. 

But a knock against this one was that it seemed to melt more quickly than the others, and so it seemed thin.
