Ergobaby Omni Breeze vs. Omni 360 vs. Omni Dream: Overview
1. Ergobaby Omni Breeze
Official Price: $199
User reviews: 4.6/5.0
Providing an easy, adjustable fit for both baby and parents of different sizes, the Ergobaby Omni Breeze is certainly a hardworking and comfortable carrier that will last from newborn to 4 years.It doesn’t need an infant insert. The height of the carrying panel means that children up to around 2 years will be most comfortable. The carrier has 4 carry positions, including on the hip and forward-facing option. It has brilliant support when outward facing, good breathability, excellent lumbar support and easy adjustability around the head and neck area. The carrier makes your baby feel almost weightless plus it adapts to you and your baby’s shape.
Ideal for summers and warmer climates, the Omni Breeze is the most breathable baby carrier. The unique diamond shape of the SoftFlexTM mesh fabric offers cool, dry comfort for caregivers and babies, and with a vented waistbelt (that could easily fit waists measuring 25.5-55.25 inches) and lumbar support, you get maximum breathability and airflow where it matters most. Other standout features include the easily adjustable and cushioned shoulder straps (which can be worn regularly or crossed over the shoulders for extra support) and thoughtfully-designed storage. The design even includes clever side pockets and a surprisingly spacious zippered fanny pack pouch in the front to stash your cell phone, keys and the baby basics. A handy hood helps shield baby from the sun and your boob when breastfeeding too, if desired.And the Omni Breeze also is one of very few baby carriers to have discreet, and perfectly placed, reflectors.

What's the Difference Between the Omni 360 and the Omni Breeze?
Compared to the Ergobaby Omni 360, the Ergobaby Omni Breeze has baby carrier:
More streamlined less ‘technical’ look;
More mesh & softer material;
Extra pockets in waistband;
Reflective strips for nighttime safety;
Foam cut outs in waistband for added breathability;
Shoulder straps are still lightly padded but less bulky;
Infant seat adjustable sliders are more hidden by front panel.
Design
The Omni Breeze's intuitive sliders which adjust the panel shape for outwards facing carrying are in a new location on the panel. It not only helps create Omni Breeze’s more streamlined look, it also makes them easier to access for quick, easy position changes. These new chest tabs have the added benefit of cradling newborns for an especially close fit. Not only that but a new buckle design on the arm straps allow easier use without compromising on safety and the upper width of the carriers’ body panel has also been adjusted to improve arm movement in outward facing mode, and improve general airflow. Comared to the Omni Breeze, the Omni 360 offersthicker padding on the shoulder straps.
Materials
Omni Breeze is made with Lightweight SoftFlex™ Mesh that covers almost all of the carrier. Its soft-feel technology provides maximum airflow with a streamlined look to keep you and baby cool and dry all day. Additionally, Omni Breeze also has foam cut outs in the waistbelt and lumbar support for even more breathability.
The Omni 360 baby carrier has two materials to choose from.The Omni 360 Cool Air Mesh baby carrier is made of breathable mesh fabric for a high level of breathability with a more technical look.The Omni 360 Cotton has all the benefits of the Omni carriers and is made from premium cotton that is extra durable and long-lasting.
Features
Omni Breeze has lots of the features that parents love about our Omni 360 – padded shoulder straps, lumbar support, sun/privacy hood, removable storage pouch etc. but Omni Breeze has some extras. It offers 2 expandable side pockts & pouch , while Omni 360 only offers 1 card pocket & pouch. Extra pockets mean you can keep track of even more of your bits and bobs. Plus, Omni Breeze's subtle reflective strips offer increased nighttime safety.
What's the Difference Between the Omni Breeze and the Omni Dream?
The main difference between the Omni Breeze and the Omni Dream is simply the material used. The Omni Breeze features allover mesh, while the Omni Dream is made from brushed SoftTouch cotton material which is heavenly soft and provides your baby with a soft carrying experience - almost like skin to skin.
Other than the fabric, the two small differences you will see between them is that the Omni Breeze has reflective strips and a zipper for the top pouch that contains the baby hood, Whereas the Omni Dream doesn't have either of these things.
Bottom Line
Both Omni Dream and Omni Breeze carry baby in all carry positions from newborn to toddler with best-in-class, premium features. They all designed to suit four different carrying positions: on the front (with the baby facing in or facing out), on the hip, and on the back. During the baby’s first months, it should sit facing inwards towards the wearer's belly/chest, but after about 5-6 months the baby is free to change position to suit their personal preference. Plus, they all have adjustable cushioned shoulder straps with padded lumbar support for added comfort.
So Choosing between Omni 360, Omni Dream, Omni Breeze is mainly a matter of which fabric you'd like for your baby carrier. According to the Ergobaby website, Omni Breeze is 50% cooler than similarly comparable mesh baby carriers. The fabric is super lightweight and breathable and perfect for warm weather. The material isn’t extremely soft but is also very comfortable for me.
The Omni Dream is almost the same as the Omni Breeze. It is softer than the Omni Breeze, while is not as light and breathale as the Breeze model. If you have high requirements for the softness and comfort of the material, the Omni Dream is a better choice for you.
The Ergobaby Omni 360 is such a classic and it’s still a great piece of baby gear. The Omni 360 is also about $20 less expensive than the Omni Breeze and Omni Dream at the moment. If you want save some money or are a fan of the thicker padding on the shoulder straps, the Ergobaby Omni 360 is deserved to buy.
