Texture: CeraVe's Hydrating Mineral Sunscreen has a nice slip to it. Few things are more frustrating than sunscreen that's dry and hard to work through. The consistency here is similar to a hydrating serum, though the smooth, hydrating texture may not be everyone's preference (especially for oily skin types).

Review: It's lightweight, feels good on my skin, doesn’t feel oily, and always gives a nice light coverage. It's definitely not a universal tint, but it does blend in very well across a broad range of skin tones. The tint is strong enough to cover up dark spots and acne marks as well. Beyond protecting your skin, this formula is a multitasker with its ceramides, hyaluronic acid, and niacinamide, making fostering an overall healthy, nourished complexion easier. This one is a pretty good deal for a formula full of skin-loving ingredients.

What Does It Do?

Texture: It's very thin and has a water like consistency. It's non greasy and absorbs fast into the skin. It blends nicely and doesn't leave a sheen on your skin either.

Review: This sun lotion is perfect for a beach holiday as it has both a high spf50 and a bit of colour in it. It's a really nice light texture like the ultralight non coloured block. You can use it in place of BB cream when the weather is too hot for a thicker cream and you don't want to look too overdone. If you're heading out and need a bit of extra coverage, just add a bit of pressed powder over the top.

Review: Australian Gold Botanical SPF 50 Tinted Face Lotion is an excellent affordable mineral sunscreen with a tint that's suitable for some skin types. Although the finish is more suitable for those with oily skin and the tint can still appear grey, it performs well as an SPF and as a day time primer if you need your makeup to last all day! Dry-skinned peeps beware – this won't be suitable for you in dry climates.
