A single jacquard square logo attached to the back wall is only reinforced on the sides. There is no stitching on the upper or bottom walls, except for a small stitch on the upper corners.

These are some benchmarks you’ll find on every authentic bag. Unfortunately a lot of the fakes have replicated this but at the very least if the bag don’t have this you KNOW it’s fake.

Note that this tag is not included in all bags and all sizes. We’ve seen some small, 2020-produced bags with the white folded tag, while some medium, 2020 bags have been seen without. Bags produced prior to 2020 have not been seen with this tag.

7. The Hardware of Telfar Bag

(1) There should be limited hardware on a Telfar bag.Telfar bags are very minimal and feature little hardware,  but all sizes should include a magnetic snap closure.

(2) Some sizes may include a pocket with zipper closure, while large bags include a spacious back compartment with a zipper closure and a front interior pocket.  If a zipper is present, it should be silver-tone and may be branded YKK.

8.The Shape of Telfar Bag

(1) The bags all have a boxy, structured silhouette.

(2) The square edges on TELFAR bags are very defined and well-stitched. Since the small bags are tiny, this gives them a pretty firm square structure. If you see a small bag with round looking corners it’s probably fake.

It’s important to only use water and diluted detergent with a soft white cloth to wipe the PU surface clean. Avoid using strong detergent that could bleach or damage the PU surface and avoid using any heat sources on the bag.
