6 Cheaper Logitech MX Keys Alternatives: Comparison & Reviews 2024
| #1 Logitech K780 Full-size Wireless Scissor Keyboard
Google Users Rating: 4.6/5
Logitech: $64.99 (up to 10% cashback)
Staples: $64.99(up to 5% cashback)
The Logitech K780 has won a spot in the Logitech MX keys alternatives list because of its multi-device compatibility and an additional stand to hold your devices. This is a compact 96% Bluetooth keyboard which features a complete set of function keys and a number pad. You can map some keys to your desired functions using the Logitech software.Certain keys—such as Alt and Ctrl—will automatically change functions depending on which operating system you’re working in. But it has a few missing features, such as the lack of NUM lock and caps lock status indicators, and the keys themselves are not backlit. It uses typical scissor switches that require a fair amount of force to actuate; however, the overall typing experience still feels light and responsive.
This keyboard comes with a built-in tablet or mobile phone stand that you can use while you are typing. Its rubber gutter across the top is long enough to accommodate at least two mobile devices, even in landscape orientation, and the groove’s rubbery texture is grippy enough to hold most devices securely upright and allow poking the touch screen without toppling them over. It’s compatible with Windows, Mac, Chrome OS, Android, iOS, and Apple TV. Be it your PC, laptop, or tablet, K780 connects to each device that supports an external keyboard connection. You can easily hop between the connected devices with shortcut buttons present on the keyboard. There are 2 AAA batteries for the power source, and the keyboard is not rechargeable.

| #3 Logitech K380 Multi-Device Bluetooth Keyboard
Google Users Rating: 4.7/5
Logitech: $39.99 (up to 10% cashback)
Staples: $39.99 (up to 5% cashback)
The Logitech K380 Multi-Device Bluetooth Keyboard is a great choice for those who need to switch between multiple devices. It is compatible with Mac, Windows, Android and iOS devices and can be easily switched between them with the press of a button. Its thin profile and 60 percent design make it easy to toss into a bag. It's a low-profile keyboard with light-feeling scissor switches, meaning you won't feel too much fatigue during long typing sessions. But it doesn't have any additional ergonomic features like adjustable incline settings. Also, the keycaps have a circular shape and are smaller than those on most standard keyboards, you need to take a little getting used to.
The real standout feature of this board is its incredible battery life. With a fresh pair of AAA batteries, you may get as much as two years of battery life, and you'll never have to worry about cramming a charging cable into your backpack. Unfortunately, it doesn't have any backlighting, so it will be hard to see the keys if you need to use them in a dark environment. While you can remap some function keys through the Logitech Options software, it's only available on Windows and macOS, so you can't do that with mobile software.

Bestbuy: $34.99 (up to 0.5% cashback)
The Logitech K480 Bluetooth keyboard is a wireless keyboard that works with your computer, tablet, or smartphone. It's compatible with Windows, Android, Chrome OS, Mac, and iOS devices. Just like the K380, the Logitech K480 can support three Bluetooth connections simultaneously, you can switch devices at will by turning a handy little knob in the corner of the device. Logitech’s Flow Technology feature makes this keyboard. This feature allows for documents and clipboard items to be shared between devices. Many Bluetooth keyboards don't include function keys, but the Logitech
K480 does which is wonderful. It includes buttons for both iOS and
Windows, and it works exactly how you would expect. The built-in
