- Hyaluronic Acid, Squalane, and Shea Butter: Help quickly hydrate, visibly plump, and prep skin for a fresh, healthy-looking glow.
- Grapefruit and Geranium: Leave a light, uplifting scent on skin.
Detail: Bobbi Brown's Vitamin Enriched Face Base is jam-packed with ingredients that create a rich, creamy texture. It starts with butylene glycol, which adds a smooth layer to the skin for a more improved appearance. Squalane is a follow-up ingredient that seeps into pores and rejuvenates skin at a core level. Finally, beta-carotene is an antioxidant that supports skin health. You'll also find shea butter and vitamins B, C, and E, which combine to hydrate and nourish all day underneath makeup, an effect that gets better over time.
Skin type: Normal to oily skin types.
Review: It is not oil free and it has a more of a waxy texture. Not sure if those with oilier skin types need this much moisture, so those with oily skin types reading this should definitely check it out in person before making a decision! As of how it appears and wears, it looks great underneath makeup, providing a slight tackiness and nice shine to enhance foundation application and finish. The only ingredient that may be concerning is the high concentration of grapefruit, which may come off strong and could irritate sensitive skin. The product isn't infused with artificial fragrance, but those who avoid it due to irritation may want to patch-test or steer clear.
One Sephora customer wrote, "This is such an amazing primer. I love this for the days that I just need extra moisture and it does an amazing job of prepping skin before makeup. I really feel like this plumps my skin like a primer and gives you the moisture of a moisturizer. You also don't need a lot so this will last you a while. It is pricey but I do really like it."

- Bionymph Peptide Complex: Diminishes the appearance of wrinkles and visibly improves skin's smoothness.
Detail: Originally designed for use on models' tired-looking skin during fashion week, this runway-ready moisturiser is now an industry favourite thanks to its deeply hydrating properties that leave skin looking healthy and revitalised. It contains what Charlotte Tilbury calls a 'magic 8' of skincare actives, including hyaluronic acid, vitamins C & E, aloe vera, shea butter, frangipani extract, camelia oil, rosehip oil and BioNymph peptide complex, which combine to brighten and even the skin tone while nourishing, softening, plumping and toning the complexion.
Skin type: Dry skin looking for a quick pick-me-up.
Review: This cream is very thick yet it does not feel heavy on the skin. It spreads so smoothly, like silk and within minutes is absorbed into the skin. But anyone with oily or acne-prone skin may find the formula to not be ideal. If you're not a fan of fragranced products, you might find the scent quite strong, as well. It's pleasant and not overwhelming, but noteworthy nonetheless. Although this is an amazing product, you can't ignore the heavy $100 price tag on it.
"I have dry and sensitive skin, with the first signs of fine lines and this cream works wonders for my dry skin. Although the cream is rich, it is absorbed quickly unlike other creams where I have found I have to wait for it to sink in before I can apply makeup. Combined with the night cream, I found that right from the first use, even deeper lines were significantly reduced and my skin looked brighter. Although this is a pricey buy, you don't need to use too much so this has lasted me well so far and I will definitely be buying again." wrote one Charlotte Tilbury reviewer.

Skin type: Ideal for dry skin and those with combination skin who prefer a moisturiser with a rich texture.
Review: The consistency of this cream is a thicker balmy texture but it doesn't feel at all heavy or greasy with a very subtle and light natural fragrance. The fragrance is not added but naturally derived from the combination of natural ingredients. The balmy texture sits on top of the skin and is ideal for makeup application as it helps the foundation glide on the skin and blend into the skin easier. Although there are less expensive moisturizers on the market, Tatcha's Dewy Skin Cream is worth the price for all of its skincare benefits in one jar. You're not just getting hydration but also protection from pollution, as well as all those ingredients that promote healthier and stronger skin.
One Sephora customer wrote, "If you have oily skin definitely pass. My skin is extremely dry, I rarely ever see oil on my face. I also Don't have the type of skin to get breakouts or pimples. I am a skin care junkie and With other moisturizers my skin would feel a little better but still a little rough. This is the only moisturizer that leaves my skin actually soft and glowy. Been using this for over 2 years. It is definitely on the heavier side and I can see why people with oily skin might hate this. If you have normal skin use a small amount. If you have extremely dry skin like me, using more pays off, but still a little goes a long way. "
