Review: It feels a bit thick and pasty when you first apply it. With it being zinc it does give a whiter appearance compared to others; however, it is mineral instead of chemical. You've gotta keep working it on, massaging into your skin and it will eventually melt into almost nothing. A mineral sunscreen, non-tinted, SPF 50+, and not does leave a white cast is important and unusual to find for people with darker skin tones.
