Razer recently updated its Blade 15 with 11th Gen Intel Core H-series CPUs following another recent refresh at CES 2021 that brought new high-end display options. The new Razer Blade 15 (2022) comes in Base and Advanced models depending on the performance hardware you're looking at, but bottom line is that you can get up to an NVIDIA RTX 3080 Laptop graphics card (GPU), 11th Gen Intel Core i9-11900H CPU, 32GB of dual-channel DDR4-3200MHz RAM, and a 1TB M.2 PCIe 4.0 solid-state drive (SSD) with an open M.2 slot for extra storage. You won't have any problem getting a great gaming experience from the new Razer Blade 15 (2024).
With the CES 2021 upgrade comes a QHD display option with a 240Hz refresh rate. There's also now an FHD display with a whopping 360Hz refresh rate. NVIDIA's RTX 30-series GPUs will push frame rates in modern games, no doubt accommodating the esports crowd that relies on smooth gameplay. If you'd like to move up to 4K, there's also an OLED display available in the Blade 15 Advanced Edition.
In addition, the new Blade 15 also holds onto a decent port selection, including dual Thunderbolt 4 and HDMI 2.1. Moreover, the RGB keyboard from the new Blade 15 can be customized for extra style. The Asus ROG Zephyrus G15 (2021) is absolutely one of the best gaming laptops you can find right now thanks to its near-perfect combination of gaming performance, battery life, and design. It comes with one of the best mobile processors, the Ryzen 9 5900HS, along with 15.6-inch QHD (1440p), 165Hz, 3ms display. There are other configuration differences around RAM and SSD size, with the base models featuring 16GB RAM and 512GB SSDs, with the top-end configurations bumping this to 32GB RAM and 1TB SSD. The other major difference is the GPU, with the base models starting with the Nvidia RTX 3060 and the top-end loaded up with an RTX 3080, with the RTX 3070 falling naturally in the middle.
Thanks to two top-firing speakers on either side of the keyboard, the ROG Zephyrus G15 also sounds great as well. There are plenty of ports to plug them into, including two USB Type-C and two USB Type-A inputs. There's also an Ethernet RJ45 port to get the best connection possible and HDMI 2.0b output for external monitor support. As for battery life, the ROG Zephyrus G15’s 90Wh battery can last up to 14 hours by the same metric.
It is worth mentioning that Asus has refreshed its ROG gaming laptops with the new Asus ROG Zephyrus G15. The most notable feature improvement is the Windows Hello IR camera (previously omitted a webcam). On the other hand, the new Asus ROG Zephyrus G15 can sport up to AMD’s Ryzen 9 6900HS and up to Nvidia’s new RTX 3080 Ti. When it comes to the configurable RAM, storage, and port selection, the new Asus ROG Zephyrus G15 can support up to 32GB of fast DDR5 memory clocked at 4,800MHz. But Asus says that these new G15 models won’t ship until mid to late 2024, and it didn’t share pricing for any of these models.
