Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream vs. Clinique Moisture Surge vs. Neutrogena Hydro Boost: Which Is Best for You?

    • Whether you have a naturally dry skin type or are simply suffering from tight, dry skin as a result of the weather, you need a cream or moisturizer that will nourish and hydrate it back to good health. Moisturizers or creams are skincare products that lubricate, protect, and hydrate the skin. They also stop the skin from losing moisture by repairing the protective barrier. Three cult favorites of moisturizers in the market right now are Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream, Clinique Moisture Surge, and Neutrogena Hydro Boost that focus on women's beauty needs – hydrating and nourishing. Which is best for you? Below, we will see the comparison of the three products to help you choose.

When your skin's moisture barrier is weakened, the water content of your skin decreases, leading to drier and more tired-looking skin. • The Ingredients & Benefits

| Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream

Created with Squalane and Imperata Cylindrica, this facial moisturiser will replenish skin with hydration by absorbing moisture from the air and improving skins ability to retain the moisture. Added Glacial Glycoprotein Extract works to protect skin and as a result, this lightweight face cream is particularly good at maintaining well-balanced skin, even in harsh weather conditions.

With 24-hour protection, Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream is perfect for long days and nights and even keeps skin fresh and hydrated on long haul flights, in harsh winter weather and in air-conditioned offices.

| Clinique Moisture Surge 72-Hour Auto-Replenishing Hydrator

Auto-Replenishing Technology supplies the skin with Caffeine to stimulate the skin. Aloe Water, Humectants and Hyaluronic Acid not only supply the skin with moisture but proceeds to lock it in and prevent dehydration.

Suitable for all skin types, this lightweight cream-gel moisturiser works to plump skin and intensely hydrate for twenty-four hours. Its deeply moisturising formula targets fine lines, tightness and dry patches to comfort, nourish and replenish. Skin feels healthy, revived and happy.

| Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel

The unique water gel formula absorbs quickly like a gel, but has the long-lasting, intense moisturizing power of a cream.

This daily gel moisturizer is formulated with hyaluronic acid, which is naturally found in the skin. Hyaluronic acid, a hydrator found naturally in the skin, attracts moisture and locks it in. The non-comedogenic gel facial moisturizer can be worn under makeup and leaves your skin more supple and smooth.

Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream vs. Clinique Moisture Surge vs. Neutrogena Hydro Boost: which is best for you?

All of the three products are effective, for sure.

One of the classic all-stars from the Kiehl's line, this moisturizer does not disappoint. Many consider it a staple in their routine and thanks to its lightweight, hydrating and fragrance-free formula, it's a great fit for a range of skin types. "I'm in love with this cream," exclaimed one reader. "It's simple, doesn't have a scent and my skin drinks it up every time."

Clinique products are well-known for being gentle on the skin and the Surge Hydrator is great for sensitive skin or skin prone to break-outs. It feels incredibly moisturising without being oily or heavy and works for 72 hours. Apply morning and night or use as a 5-minute mask for a hydration boost.

Neutrogena is another classic and affordable skin care product that derms recommend.

The Hydro Boost gel has a very similar feel to Moisture Surge (very lightweight and instantly hydrating, for those who haven't tried it) and it smells great, too.

The smell is one slight difference in the two products, as Clinique's is fragrance free but, while the gel version very clearly states 'parfum' on its ingredients list, the gel cream does not. For that reason, if you fall into the sensitive skin category, I would recommend the Hydro Boost Gel Cream.
