Legoland Florida Top Rides
There is a terrific variety of rides spread through LEGOLAND’s 150 acres. Older children well catered for by these high-powered rides.
Opened 2018, The Great Lego Race combines roller coaster thrills with virtual reality (VR) technology. Riders don a VR headset to experience the thrills of a high speed race in lego built vehicles against lego mini-figures such as a pirate, wizard, surfer and pharaoh.
The Dragon is a combination dark ride/roller coaster that begins inside a fairy-tale castle, where you encounter a magic dragon before being launched outside on this Vekoma Junior Coaster.
Coastersaurus is the former Triple Hurricane Martin & Vleminckx wooden junior coaster, now revamped with a dinosaur theme for Legoland Florida. It sends daring riders over bounding, dipping hills and past prehistoric plantlife with LEGO dinosaur figures hidden in the underbrush.
Flying School is a family suspended coaster that sends kids whizzing over the streets of LEGO City, hanging under the track to experience the incomparable thrill of flight training.
Mia's Riding Adventure is a spinning disc coaster where guests can pick their own stationary horse to mount and then enjoy a fun, thrilling ride.
Driving School is one of Legoland's signature attractions. Kids aged 6 - 13 can receive their own LEGO driver's license at this mini Autopia-style driving course sponsored by Ford. Afterwards, they can purchase a mock "driving license".
LEGO NINJAGO The Ride, opening January 12, 2017 as part of the park's new Ninjago-themed land, this 4D interactive ride will allow visitors to train and fight as Lego Ninjas in a battle against a powerful villain. Unlike other shooter rides, there's no weapon. Like a Ninja, you fight with your hands.
The younger set can choose from 30 smaller-scale rides, notably in the Duplo Valley area and LEGO City. Toddlers can board a DUPLO train either by themselves or with caregivers and explore countryside-themed scenery that include farms, fishing holes and campgrounds.
DUPLO Tractor: toddlers can sit in a tractor built just their size and take part in a slow moving ride where they can help farmers plow the corn fields and search for farm animals hidden along the way.
Junior Driving School is a smaller version of the main Driving School attraction, aimed at kids aged 3-5. After receiving instructions, kids can drive at a leisurely pace around the small circuit.
The Grand Carousel is a double-decker carousel. Leaping horses grace the historic ride's two floors and classic music fills the midways surrounding with great nostalgia.
Legoland Florida Other "Must See" Attractions
Along with rides, Legoland itself has a couple of shows such as :
The Brick Builders Live Show is a circus of audience interaction as performers show off their LEGO-themed tricks.
The Pirates' Cove Live Water Ski Show showcases your favorite yellow brick men showcasing their tricks on the water.
In Addition, you should definitely try to take in one of the 3 films running throughout the day at the Wells Fargo 4D Theater, notably The LEGO Movie 4D.
Where else can you visit California, Las Vegas, Washington DC and New York City all in one day? MINILAND USA contains more than 32 million LEGO bricks and amazing scenes from coast to coast all the way to a galaxy far, far away!
LEGOLAND Florida is on the property of what used to be Cypress Gardens, and there is still an area dedicated to the former park. The vast Banyan Tree remains an iconic part of the Gardens and is a great photo opportunity.
If you choose to purchase the combination ticket, make your way to LEGOLAND Water Park. Aside from the awesomely themed but fairly standard slides and wave pool, the highlights are Build-a-Boat (where you can test out your own LEGO boat on the water) and the Joker Soaker interactive play area.
