Directions to SeaWorld San Antonio

SeaWorld San Antonio is located at the intersection of Ellison Drive and Westover Hills Boulevard, just off State Highway 151 between Loop 410 and Loop 1604, 16 miles northwest of downtown San Antonio. Numerous directional signs are visible from Highway 151.

From Downtown San Antonio
Take I-37 South to Highway 90 West. Exit Highway 151 West. Take the Westover Hills Blvd. exit and turn left. Westover Hills Blvd. will take you directly to SeaWorld's® entrance.

From North (Airport area)
Take Loop 410 West to SeaWorld exit. Take Highway 151 West to Westover Hills Blvd. and turn left. Westover Hills Blvd. will take you directly to SeaWorld's entrance.

From South (Corpus Christi, Pleasanton)
Take I-37 North, exit to Highway 90 West. Take Highway 151 West to Westover Hills Blvd. and turn left. Westover Hills Blvd. will take you directly to SeaWorld's entrance.

From West (Del Rio, Uvalde)
Take Highway 90 East to Loop 1604. Turn left on Loop 1604. Turn right on Ellison Drive. Follow Ellison Drive to SeaWorld's entrance.

From East (Seguin, Houston)
Take I-10 West, which becomes Highway 90 West. Take Highway 90 West to Highway 151 West. Exit at Westover Hills Blvd. and turn left. Westover Hills Blvd. will take you directly to SeaWorld's entrance.

From Austin or Dallas
Take I-35 South to Loop 410 West. Take Highway 151 West to Westover Hills Blvd. Turn left at Westover Hills Blvd. Westover Hills Blvd. will take you directly to SeaWorld's entrance.

"Must See" Animal Exhibits

Penguin Tour is an antarctic-themed penguin exhibit. Guests board a moving walkway, before viewing more than 100 penguins of a variety of different species.

Beluga Whale Tour at SeaWorld San Antonio, to learn all about beluga whales, Pacific white-sided dolphins, animal care and training with an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour.

Shark Tour: separate fact from fiction as you explore the incredible diversity and design of sharks. Dare to peer down into our 450,000-gallon aquarium to discover how we care for these perfect predators.

Animal Ambassador Tour: there you will encounter a variety of exotic and rescued animals, hear their stories, and get a chance to take photos with them.

One Ocean features a new set, panoramic LED screens and an all-new soundtrack, it delivers an educational message that is designed to inspire guests to "celebrate, connect and care" for the ocean. Stunts performed by SeaWorld San Antonio's killer whales are the centerpiece of One Ocean.

Ocean Discovery highlights gentle and social beluga whales along with highly acrobatic Pacific white sided dolphins who can jump up to 20 feet above the surface of the water.

Pets Ahoy is a brand-new comical show featuring the talents of a menagerie of dogs, cats, birds, rats, pot-belly pigs, and other animals performing a series of uproarious and amazing skits.

Clyde and Seamore's Sea Lion High is a sea lion comedy adventure that set inside an aquatic-themed high school that features performing sea lions, walruses and otters.

Amazing Rides & Roller Coasters

The Great White is a 'hanging' coaster. You can challenge yourself to the 360-degree flips and experience thrills on the grand-daddy of all SeaWorld® San Antonio coasters and race along at nearly 50 mph on a floorless run of breathtaking loops, corkscrews and thrilling curves.

Steel Eel is the tallest roller coaster at a SeaWorld theme park. It  features a vertical drop of 15 stories followed by a series of camelbacks that provide periods of weightlessness.  Its circuit is a fairly basic affair, designed to offer significant "airtime" to riders. After plummeting down the first drop, the trains race through a series of further hills, but no inversions.

New for 2017, Wave Breaker The Rescue Coaster is an Intamin launch coaster themed to Jetski-style personal watercraft.  Riding a jet-ski style car, you race out over the lake, launching 60 feet into the air through banks and turns along 2,600 feet of track.

The Journey to Atlantis is a 3-1/2 minute flume ride. Get a panoramic, 360º view at the top of the first peak, followed by a 10-story reverse camelback that sends you on a wet and wild plunge into the lake below.

All-New Sea Swinger is a giant pendulum swing ride in which 16 riders sit in a circle of seats at the end of the pendulum. Riders will be able to experience breathtaking 360 degree views of the park below, including the green sea turtles and multi-colored fish of Turtle Reef.

New for 2019. All-New Riptide Rescue is a classic troika ride in which groups of four 2-seater cars rotate round at the end of 3 long arms. As the whole ride, including the 3 arms, begins to turn then the arms rise into the air and the cars spin faster and faster.
