The Great Escape & Splashwater Kingdom Rides and Coasters List

If you are a thrill-seekers, don't miss the following roller coasters and several thrilling rides.

Flashback (previously called Boomerang) is a Vekoma-built shuttle coaster.  It features a single train which is pulled backwards up a large slope. It then plummets through a number of twists, turns and inversions, before racing back around the circuit in reverse.

The Comet is a classic wooden coaster with a traditional "out and back" layout. This coaster features a series of "airtime" hills and banked turns. The historic, 4,200-foot wooden coaster is regarded as one of the best of its kind in the world, with a top speed of 55 mph and wild curves creating tremendous hang time for its riders.

Greezed Lightnin', a seven-story, chaotic looping roller coaster, is unlike anything you have ever experienced. This steel monster towers over Hot Rod USA, delivering 360-degree thrills to those who are brave enough to ride!

Steamin' Demon is one of the world's first looping corkscrew coasters that spent its early years operating at New Orleans' Pontchartrain Beach. It was the first major thrill ride built at Great Escape in the modern era and speeds across the 1,600-foot ride hit 40 mph with elevations of 95 feet.

Alpine Bobsled is a "Bobsled" type of roller coaster that is unique and increasingly rare. It is not locked onto a track, rather it flies along a trough to simulate an Olympic bobsled-style adventure.

Extreme Supernova is a pendulum ride that has you spinning around a central axis while you swing up to 50 feet in the air. Your view of the world changes as you come close to swinging upside down.

Sasquatch offers two distinct experiences. One tower is a Space Shot attraction, which blasts guests to the top at high speed. The other is a Turbo Drop, which lifts riders to the top and then sends them plummeting towards the ground below at faster-than-freefall speeds.

Pandemonium is a high speed spin ride  - billed as a "family ride" with a high thrill level. Up to 24 riders face outwards, accelerating rapidly to a high speed spin whilst tilting at all angles.

Dare Devil Dive is a 175 foot high bungee type experience. First, you’ll have to get to the top of a 175-foot tower before taking a flying leap from the top with nothing but sky to catch your fall. In a split second, you are released and plummeting back towards the earth in a state of total free fall. You can plan on hurtling toward the ground as fast as 60 mph.

It is worth mentioning that a number of kids' rides are spread across the Storytown and KIDZOPOLIS areas.  I believe your child will have a good time here.

ZoomJets is a basic children's ride. Young riders board miniature planes that rotate around a central column, and are able to control their height themselves.

Grand Carousel is a classic merry-go-round attraction, which sees guests boarding mock horses that bob up and down as they rotate on a central turntable.

Oakley’s Honey Swings is a junior chair-o-plane ride, in which kids sit in chairs that are suspended from a central structure. This spins rapidly, sending them swinging out to the sides.

Visiting the park on a hot day? The outdoor water park ——Splashwater Kingdom is the best place for you cooling down. There are more than 10 amazing attractions from large pools to lazy rivers and multi-passenger rafting adventures.

Paradise Plunge is a high altitude slide. As you step inside the capsule at the top of this record-breaking slide, you’ll stand and wait before the trap door underneath you opens unexpectedly and gravity sends you down the slide at nearly 90 degrees to a splash landing waiting below. A plunging rider is likely to hit speeds of up to 40 mph.

Tornado is a gigantic funnel that you ride in groups of four. Raft down a 132-foot tunnel into the mouth of a gigantic funnel.

Big Kahuna is a big 100-foot tunnel.  You’re dropped into an enormous bowl, and you’ll feel the power of centrifugal force as you spiral in a dramatic one-of-a-kind water stunt.
