Six Flags New England Rides and Coasters List

Six Flags New England is a thrill seeker’s theme park. There are many roller coasters and thrilling rides, and most of those have a 54″ height requirement.

Wicked Cyclone

Wicked Cyclone is an intense Hybrid coaster that integrates both wood and steel, stands 10 stories in the sky and reaches maximum speeds of up to 55 mph. It is the first coaster of its kind to have a 200-degree stall and two Zero-G Rolls.

Superman The Ride

Superman The Ride is such a darn good ride, and no one has built one since that tops in the steel coaster category. This 5,400-foot steel hypercoaster boasts a 221-foot drop and speeds of up to 77 miles per hour along the twisty red track. It is one of the best attractions at Six Flags New England.

Batman The Dark Knight

Batman The Dark Knight is a steel floorless roller coaster wihich has 2,600 feet (790 m) of track, reaches a maximum height of 117.8 feet (35.9 m) and features five inversions.

The Joker 4D Free Fly Coaster

The Joker 4D Free Fly Coaster launching in 2017. After being lifted straight up a 120-foot hill, this 4D Wing Coaster challenges riders to “face their fears” as they flip head-over-heels from four to eight times along the weightless, tumbling journey. It's quite short, but its spinning cars deliver an unusual and enjoyable ride experience.

Goliath

Goliath is a "super boomerang" roller coaster – the tallest and fastest ride of its kind. This state-of-the-art thrill ride has riders fly forwards and backwards over twisting, looping inverted steel track. Goliath will send riders flying through the station after descending a nearly 20-story drop to fly on the outside of a vertical loop and a giant 110-foot high boomerang double inversion.

Fireball

Fireball, a seven story, chaotic looping roller coaster, is unlike anything you have ever experienced. This is a fairly intense ride, and having one's body flipped 360 degrees repeatedly can cause some queasiness even in experienced riders.

Flashback

Flashback is a steel roller coaster of shuttle design. When the coaster starts, the train is pulled backwards up the lift hill, then dropped through the loading gate into a cobra roll and then one loop. At the end of this cycle, the train is pulled up the lift hill at the end of the track. It is then released, allowing the train to traverse the track in the opposite direction. Height: 116 feet;Top Speed: 47 mph.

New England SkyScreamer

The New England SkyScreamer is the tallest of its kind in the world, lifting you up over 400 feet in the air, swinging you around at an exhilarating 35 miles per hour. You can experience breathtaking views of the Connecticut River and New England skyline.

Harley Quinn Spinsanity

Harley Quinn Spinsanity is a giant pendulum ride offering high flying thrills. The Harley Quinn Spinsanity is over 15 stories tall and you must be at least 52 inches tall to ride. It  travels at speeds of nearly 70 miles per hour, making it one of the fastest rides at Six Flags.

Scream

Standing at 205 feet in the air, this mind-blowing massive 3-legged steel tower is the only structure of its kind in the Northeast. This ride consists of three vertical towers: two are double shots where you are blasted up the tower and dropped down, while one of the towers is a turbo drop which thrusts you down.

Six Flags New England also has a pretty good selection of family rides, carnival style rides and a nice section for toddlers. Such as Animation Department、Krazy Kars、Wacky Wagons、Wild Wheelz、New England Express、Stampede Bumper Cars、Catwoman Whip and more.

Visiting the park on a hot day? Don’t miss the Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Waterpark which is included with admission (only open during the summer).  Hurricane Harbor features a wave pool, 2 lazy rivers, 12 Waterslides. The following water rides are highly recommended.

Tornado

The Tornado is a water slide manufactured by ProSlide Technology. U p to four riders board a large inner tube shaped like a clover that plunges through a tunnel resembling a giant funnel from a height of more than seven stories.

Bonzai Pipeline

The six-story slide allows six guests at a time to enter individual “Drenaline Drop” capsules and watch as the floor drops from beneath them while cruising at speeds up to 40 miles per hour. From 75 feet in the air, the rider flies through the enclosed 257-foot long slide into a pool of water at the bottom.

Big Kahuna

It is a slide complex featuring four enclosed maximum velocity raft slides. You know what this means to you as a rider — maximum curves and maximum unpredictability. You’ll be banking high against every the wall on every turn.
