Its unique construction and premium-quality materials ensure blissful snooze all night long. Therefore, the mattress stand to the brands motto The Only Mattress Custom-Built For You.

Helix hybrid mattresses combine the best of foam and spring technology. Midnight provides a medium feel and is the most popular model. Mattress features top and middle layers developed to give the perfect support, including a Memory Plus Foam layer that's great for both stomach and back sleepers while offering the support needed for side sleepers. Breathable cover and hybrid design keep you cool while you sleep.

Breathability: The Helix Midnight has a stretchy Breathe Knit cover that feels breathable and soft. Customers also have the option to upgrade to the GlacioTex cover, which feels cool to the touch.

Comfort Layers: On top of the Helix Midnight, there is a layer of the brand’s proprietary Memory Plus Foam. This material exhibits that slow-moving feel many expect from memory foam. It also helps alleviate joint pain, making this one of the best mattresses for fibromyalgia and one of the best mattresses for arthritis.

Beneath this, there's a layer of Helix Responsive Foam, which offers more body contouring and pressure relief.

Support Layer: The Helix Midnight contains up to 1,000 individually wrapped coils in its support layer. They add support and help promote airflow through the mattress. These rest on a thin layer of high-density DuraDense Foam.

Pressure Point Relief: Because of your sleeping position and body type, the mattress uses layers designed to cushion the pressure points of your shoulders and hips. Less pain, more comfort.

Side Sleeper Support: Best for side sleepers or those who toss and turn at night. The middle layers of the mattress are designed to support your body contours.

Edge Support: If you like to sit on the edge of your bed to get ready, get unready, or just chat with the people you live with, edge support is crucial in your mattress. Luckily, Helix Midnight offers us that support.

It's a good match for hot sleepers, and there are many customization options available. Strong motion isolation

What Is The Helix Midnight Luxe Mattress?

Helix is a mattress company that is all about options. You can choose from their standard line of hybrid mattresses or their Luxe line. They also offer a sleep quiz to match you with the Helix mattress that best suits your needs. The Luxe mattresses are the higher-end option and boast cooling covers, plush pillow tops, and advanced zoning. It includes six hybrid models with varying firmness levels to suit a wide range of sleepers. The Sunset Luxe, Midnight Luxe, and Twilight Luxe are designed with side sleepers in mind, while the Moonlight Luxe, Dusk Luxe, and Dawn Luxe are meant for back and stomach sleepers.

The Helix Midnight Luxe is in the middle of that firmness range and offers a great balance of comfort and support. It's their most popular model and should work for many types of sleepers.

Cooling Technology: The Helix Midnight Luxe sleeps super cool. Hybrid mattresses are breathable, and the Midnight Luxe is no exception. Select either an ultra breathable TENCEL™ cover, designed for maximum airflow, or upgrade to the GlacioTex™ Cooling Cover, which effectively pulls heat away from your body for your most comfortable sleep, ever.

Pressure Relief: Best for side sleepers or those that toss and turn at night. Features luxury Memory Foam for pressure point relief on your hips and shoulders.

Medium Feel: The most popular feel choice - not too firm, not too soft at the top of your mattress. Great for couples with different feel preferences.

Excellent Edge Support: The Helix Midnight Luxe has great edge support, and you may feel secure sitting near the edge of the mattress. When you lie down, you don't feel like you are going to fall off the mattress.

Durability: The Helix Midnight Luxe features some high-density foam and other high-quality materials such as individually-wrapped coils. It is hard to gauge how long a mattress will last. Based on its construction, the Helix Midnight Luxe should last for at least 10 years. This depends on your weight and how often you use the mattress, but the Helix Midnight Luxe is a durable option.

Ideal For:

People who prefer the plush yet supportive feel of pillow-top foam hybrids

Hot sleepers

Those who carry extra weight in their torso and hips

Review:

While it contains memory foam in its construction, the Helix Midnight Luxe is a bouncier mattress overall. The transition layers and coils are responsive and make it easy to move around on and change positions on the mattress.

On top, the mattress has a plush pillow top feel, letting you sink into the material. Below that, you get a bit of that slow-moving memory foam feel. While the top is quite plush, you don’t have trouble moving around on the Helix Midnight Luxe mattress.

Pros:

It is an ideal match for back sleepers

The Helix Midnight Luxe boasts a super comfy pillow top

The mattress adjusts to your body quickly as you change positions

Suitable for hot sleepers

Cons:

The Helix Midnight Luxe isn't firm enough for stomach sleeping

Heavier side sleepers will need something softer.

It's not a great option for shoppers on a budget

Helix Midnight VS. Helix Midnight Luxe:

Source:helixsleep.com

The Helix Midnight is available in two versions, the Standard and the Luxe. As the name suggests, the Midnight Luxe is the more deluxe version, while the Standard doesn't have the same bells and whistles. While they are both high-quality, your budget and sleeping preferences are going to determine which mattress you should choose.

The main difference is that the Helix Luxe mattresses feature a pillow top while the standard Helix mattresses do not. The Luxe also comes with an optional cooling cover and its coils are zoned for extra lumbar support. Generally, the Luxe mattresses are more deluxe and cost more.

If you are a larger person, hot sleeper, or want a mattress that will last longer, the Luxe mattresses are indeed worth it.

If you are a lighter person, you should find a good balance of comfort and support on both the Helix Midnight and Helix Midnight Luxe. You might not need all the extra plushnes the Luxe provides, and you could save money by choosing the standard Midnight.

Average weight back sleepers who weigh closer to 130 lbs should get enough support from the Helix Midnight mattress. If you weigh more than that, the Helix Midnight Luxe is going to offer you an even better balance of comfort and support.

What Is The Saatva Classic Mattress?

Crafted with precision, this mattress offers a medium firmness that strikes the perfect balance between plush comfort and support. Catering to a variety of sleep styles, it's designed for both back and stomach sleepers. Its innovative body contouring design ensures proper spinal alignment, a crucial element for restorative sleep.

Choose between the Breathe Knit cover for exceptional comfort and airflow, or upgrade to the Silky GlacioTex™ Cooling Cover for cutting-edge cooling technology that draws heat away from your body. The optional premium quilted pillow top adds an extra layer of luxury. With 11.5" of carefully selected foam comfort layers, the Helix Dusk is tailored to meet your specific sleep needs, providing the ultimate sleeping experience.

Cooling: The Helix Dusk mattress uses a proprietary technology called the Helix Soft Touch Design. Choose between the Breathe Knit cover or upgrade to the GlacioTex Cooling Cover for cooling tech that pulls heat away from your body.

Edge Support: Edge support is an area where the Helix Dusk excels. Because of the coil layer that makes up the majority of this bed’s construction, the edges of this mattress hold up very well. You can securely sleep near the edge or sit on the edge of the Dusk while getting ready in the morning. Even heavier sleepers who sit or lie on the edge of the bed can trust that the Helix Dusk will remain supportive.

Motion Isolation: The Helix Dusk is not the best mattress for couples because it features Helix Dynamic Foam, a bouncy latex-foam alternative, as its top comfort layer. This means that movement can more easily transfer across the bed and perhaps disturb your sleeping partner.

Pain Relief: This mattress is best suited to back and stomach sleepers with lower back pain. Some side sleepers may find this bed to be a bit too firm for them, causing pressure at the hips and shoulders.

Sex: The Helix Dusk is a great mattress for sex. It has a responsive composition, some extra bounce from the coils, and a breathable construction.

Durability: As a hybrid mattress made with individually wrapped metal coils and resilient foams, the Dusk is one of the more durable Helix mattresses. Plus, it's protected by a 10-year warranty.

Ideal For:

Back sleepers of all body types

Those with average-weight (130–230 lbs) body types

People with back pain

Hot sleepers

Those who need a bed with a supportive edge

Review:

The Helix Dusk is a hybrid mattress that uses an 8″ layer of pocketed coils and two layers of foam to provide support and comfort, primarily designed for back and stomach sleepers. The Dusk provides good pressure relief with a medium-firm feel.

The Dusk has a balanced feel that’s not too soft or firm. At first contact, you sink down an inch or two into the foam comfort layers, but quickly feel the support of the base coils. Back and stomach sleepers will feel gently cushioned, but lightweight side sleepers probably won't press far enough into the mattress to experience a comfortable level of pressure relief.

It also has a fast response time, but also comes with higher levels of motion transfer, which is less than ideal for those who sleep with sensitive partners.

Pros:

Pros of the Helix Dusk Luxe

Great for people who tend to overheat at night

This is particularly helpful for people who deal with back pain

It's a luxurious mattress that's particularly durable

Ability to personalize each side of the mattress

A special model for heavier people

Cons:

Not available for fans of very firm or very soft mattresses

Side sleepers may not get enough pressure relief

What Is The Helix Dusk Luxe Mattress?

Elevate your sleep experience with the Helix Dusk Luxe Medium Mattress, a masterpiece of balanced comfort and exceptional support. Designed to cater to diverse preferences, this mattress boasts a medium feel that suits both individuals and couples seeking the perfect harmony between firmness and softness.

Experience the pinnacle of support with the Helix Dynamic Foam, expertly crafted to cater to back and stomach sleepers. Enjoy unparalleled comfort with the luxury quilted pillow top, reminiscent of the plushness found in high-end hotels. Customize your sleep environment by opting for the ultra breathable TENCEL™ cover, ensuring maximum airflow and moisture-wicking properties, or select the GlacioTex™ Cooling Cover that ingeniously whisks away heat for an undisturbed sleep.

The Helix Luxe series introduces a realm of enhanced features, each meticulously designed to elevate your slumber. Zoned lumbar support coils gently cradle your body, creating a softer under-shoulder and firmer under-hip sensation, aligning your spine perfectly. Top-notch edge support guarantees stability, night after night.

Support: The Helix Dusk Luxe's support comes from a firm innerspring unit and layers of Memory Plus Foam, high-density poly foam, and DuraDense Foam. The coil unit is designed to feel softer under your shoulders and firmer under your hips, helping to cradle your body and keep everything in alignment. The foam layers offer ergonomic contouring and comfort.

Motion Transfer: Motion transfer is something to consider if you share your bed with a restless partner or pet, or someone who gets in and out of bed at different times than you. What you’re looking for is as much motion isolation as possible, which means that when a co-sleeper moves around, the movement remains in their part of the mattress, leaving you undisturbed. We found the Helix Dusk Luxe to have excellent motion isolation, potentially making it a great choice for couples.

Cooling: The pocketed coils in this bed allow for air to flow through, preventing heat from being trapped in the layers. A breathable Tencel cover is offered as standard, or you can upgrade to the GlacioTex Cooling Cover, which is cool to the touch and made with heat-dissipating fibers that help regulate body temperature.

Performance for Couples: With fantastic motion isolation and cooling, this mattress would suit many couples well. This mattress also has excellent edge support, thanks to stronger coils around the perimeter that allow you to use the entire surface area of the bed.

Ideal For:

People who prefer the plush yet supportive feel of pillow-top foam hybrids

Back sleepers

Lightweight sleepers

Hot sleepers

Those who carry extra weight in their torso and hips

Review:

The 14-inch Helix Dusk Luxe is a hybrid mattress with five layers of foam and pocketed coils. It has a breathable pillow top with a Tencel cooling cover, ideal for hot sleepers. The sleep surface cradles your body as the foam layers hug and support your curves closely.

Helix Dusk Luxe responds to your movements quickly, and the bounce allows you to change sleep positions without any added effort. Since the mattress is firmer under the lumbar region, it ensures correct spinal alignment, whether you sleep on your back or stomach or sides. When you sleep in a healthy posture, you enjoy a deeper rest and wake up pain-free and refreshed.

The zoned support and the 14-inch profile of Dusk Luxe make it a suitable bed for all body structures. So if you and your sleep partner have different mattress requirements, both of you can enjoy a comforting and peaceful rest on this mattress.

The sturdy edges make getting in and out of bed effortless and decrease the likelihood of roll-off accidents. Helix Dusk Luxe is a durable mattress that provides high value for money and many years of blissful rest.

Pros:

Great for people who tend to overheat at night,

Perfect for back and stomach sleepers

Surprisingly supportive

Good motion isolation

Cons:

Fans of very firm or very soft mattresses won’t like it

Too soft for those >230lbs

Helix Sleep offers a line of six "Luxe" mattresses in addition to its standard line, with each Luxe mattress serving as a slightly more elevated version of its standard counterpart.

The Helix Dusk Luxe should feel similar to the Helix Dusk, but the Luxe incorporates a breathable TENCEL pillow top, ergonomically zoned support coils, and a transition layer of polyfoam for extra loft. It's also more expensive than the original Dusk and comes with a 15-year warranty—five years longer than the standard Dusk's 10-year warranty.
