“Paqui” chips are a brand of spicy chips based on the Guinness record holder for hottest chili pepper in the world, the Carolina Reaper. What is the 'One Chip Challenge'? The “One Chip Challenge" by Paqui, which originally debuted in 2016, involves eating a chip laced with Carolina Reaper and Scorpion peppers. Clearly not for the “faint of heart,” each Carolina Reaper Madness was sold individually in a coffin-shaped box ($4.99), sprawled with signs like a grim reaper carrying a scythe, and words such as “The Reaper is waiting, any last words?”
The story of this scorching product began several years ago when Doug Lyon, Founder of Paqui attended an event hosted by PuckerButt Pepper Company in South Carolina. There, he met Ed Currie—President of the famous pepper company and inventor of the Carolina Reaper—and tried the pepper that rates over 1.5 million Scoville units. Currie recalled, “Lyon wet his fingers in the powdered peppers, got incapacitated for a moment, and decided that it’d make the perfect ingredient for what would eventually become, the world’s spiciest chip.”
Though the challenge debuted several years ago, it is seeing renewed interest thanks to the rise in popularity of TikTok.

These are one of the best hot chips we've ever had. We would definitely recommend Takis Fuego to friends or family as the they are so delicious.
Takis, exactly what we expected. When you take your first bite, you'll smell a burst of lime flavor, followed by a quick bite of fried corn.
Once the corny smell is gone, the Fuego Takis create an overwhelming amount of heat, which fortunately subsides after a few seconds.
You can feel the chili on the way down, though. There's a noticeable tingling in your gut as the oil in the fried corn and chili mixes together.
For the just mentioned sourness of lime , not the strongest, it won't wrinkle your mouth like lime-flavored Tostitos. Fuego is Takis' flagship product, and it strikes the perfect balance between spiciness and flavor, and overall just the right amount of "stimulus."
All we have to say is, yes, these things taste great. But don't overlook their hearty crunch, like something coming out of a deep fryer.
These crunchiness also make them stand out, although there are also Taki-flavored Dinamitas from rival brand Doritos on the market.
But the biggest difference between Takis and Dinamita is their texture: Takis have thicker flakes and flaky layers, which make for a particularly satisfying crunch. Dinamita chips are slightly thinner and more likely to break rather than crunch.
All in all, Fuego is our favourite Takis, full of spiciness and crunch with the addition of lime. If you're shopping for any flavor of Takis, get this one.
