This Hang-on-Back media reactor from AquaReady can be used with carbon, GFO, or biopellets. Integrating an up-flow design, the reactor introduces water at the bottom of the filter then pushes upward through the media before returning to your aquarium. An innovative bracket keeps the inlet and outlet tubes securely in place, making it not only a functional piece of your filtration system, but also neat and tidy.

How Does This Fit into Your System?

The AquaReady Hang-on-Back Media Reactor will fit on aquariums that are at least 12.5" tall and with a maximum rim thickness of 3/4". It is compatible with a number of popular filter medias such as carbon, GFO, and biopellets.

How Can This Help My Aquarium?

Aquariums require filtration to manage ammonia, nitrates, and phosphates. Filter media such as carbon, GFO, and biopellets can be used to eliminate these as well as other organic pollutants that may contribute to odors, discoloration, and/or algae growth. Unlike a media bag, a media reactor forces water through the media, ensuring maximum effectiveness.
