Day 1: Arrive Barcelona

Fly from the UK and arrive in Barcelona where we will transfer will take to our hotel.

Day 2: Barcelona to Madrid

Today we include a sightseeing tour of Barcelona with a visit to the Gothic Quarter and an insight into the architectural modernism of Antonio Gaudi. We then start our journey to Madrid stopping in Zaragoza to visit the Cathedral of the Virgin Pillar before continuing onto Spain’s exciting capital city. (B,D)

Day 3: Madrid

After breakfast we depart the hotel and enjoy a half day sightseeing tour of Madrid. The afternoon is free to visit all the main sights and attractions. (B)

Day 4: Madrid to Seville

We leave Madrid and travel the short distance to Toledo where we have a walking tour of the city with a visit to the church of Santo Tome where the masterpiece of El Greco is located. We continue our journey to Seville with a stop en-route in Cordoba, which is known for the stunning arches of the Mezquita a former mosque-turned-cathedral. (B,D)

Day 5: Seville to Granada

After breakfast we include a guided sightseeing tour of Seville with a visit to the Jewish quarter of Santa Cruz and the Cathedral. We continue to Granada and our overnight hotel where we have dinner included. (B,D)

Day 6: Granada to Valencia

In the morning we take an excursion with entry to the famous Alhambra Palace, originally built in the 9th century and renovated in the 13th century. After time to look around this amazing complex we continue to Valencia, arriving at our hotel in the evening. (B,D)

Day 7: Valencia to Barcelona

After breakfast enjoy a sightseeing tour of Valencia and some free time. We will have lunch in a traditional restaurant in Valencia before continuing to Barcelona. This evening we will include a visit to the famous Barcelona Magic Fountain show choreographed to music. (B,L)
